the seimi bassinet

Before Massimo was born, we actually thought we’d make use of our Bugaboo Cameleon bassinet as a place for him to sleep at night. We wanted to save space and we tend to go for things that have multiple uses (it’s a pram! and it’s a bed! now it’s a stroller!). As it turns out, we’re happy co-sleepers. So it’s a VERY GOOD THING that I didn’t see this particular bassinet sooner (from the Finnish company, seimi), because I probably couldn’t have resisted its gorgeousness. Isn’t it lovely? So simple in design and materials, but just right.

In fact, I love all of their things.  They have a multi-use high chair (can be used as a stool) and a multi-use bed (from bassinet to crib to toddler bed to child bed to sofa) that are still very tempting.
